Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 4, 2026

433 LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates the Scene mobile application. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address (or Apple ID credentials if you use Sign in with Apple), along with your chosen display name, username, and profile photo.

Preferences. You select cities and interest categories during onboarding. These are stored to personalize your event feed.

Publicly available content. We collect and process publicly available content from third-party sources, including social media platforms, for the purpose of providing our event discovery service. This content consists of posts, captions, and associated media that have been made publicly available by their creators. We do not access private or restricted content, and we do not use any user's personal social media credentials to retrieve this content.

Event data you submit. When you share content to Scene via the share extension, we process it to extract event details and store the resulting event information.

Device information. We collect your device model and OS version solely for push notification delivery. We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA) or unique device IDs.

Usage data. We record actions you take within the app, including events you save, like, or mark as "going to," accounts you follow, and users you follow. These interactions may be visible to other Scene users.

Optional integrations. If you connect third-party music or calendar services, we access relevant data (e.g., followed artists) to enhance your experience. You can disconnect these integrations at any time.

Google Calendar. If you choose to connect Google Calendar, we request access to create events on calendars you own (using the calendar.events.owned scope) and to read your Google account email address (using the userinfo.email scope). We store an OAuth refresh token on our server so we can add events to your calendar on your behalf. We do not read, modify, or delete any existing events on your calendar. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the Profile tab in the app, which immediately deletes your stored tokens. You can also revoke access from your Google Account permissions page.

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Automated Processing

We use automated processing technologies, including artificial intelligence, to analyze publicly available content and extract structured event information such as dates, times, venues, and descriptions. Media content is processed transiently for the sole purpose of extracting event-related information and is not retained after processing is complete. Only the derived text-based event data is stored.

This automated processing is limited to extracting factual event details from publicly shared content. It does not involve profiling of individuals or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning any person. No personal data from our users is used to train or improve any AI models.

4. Accuracy of Event Information

Event information displayed through Scene is derived from publicly available sources using automated processing and is provided for informational purposes only. We cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of event details. We recommend that you verify event information with the original source or venue.

5. Third-Party Services

We use third-party service providers for infrastructure, data processing, payment processing, and other operational functions. These providers receive only the data necessary to perform their functions. Categories include:

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

6. Third-Party Content

Our Service displays information derived from publicly available third-party content. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the creators of this content or the platforms on which it was originally published. All trademarks and content remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Extracted event data is retained to maintain a useful event history. Media associated with past events is deleted after the event date passes. Push notification tokens are removed when you unregister a device or delete your account.

8. Data Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the app. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your profile, follows, saved events, activity history, notification tokens, and all connected integration data.

9. Location Data

Scene does not access your device's GPS or location services. City selections during onboarding are entered manually and used only to filter your event feed.

10. Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Authentication credentials are stored in encrypted on-device secure storage. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext.

11. Children's Privacy

Scene is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of Scene after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
